UNIVERSITIES

A first-rate education is available from kindergarten through college near KETEC.  Small class size, specialized programs, and  athletics are highlights of the local school systems, while post-secondary opportunities abound.   Within a 30-mile radius are:

MEDICAL CARE and BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH

The Danville campus of the internationally renowned Geisinger Health System is 20 miles from KETEC.  Founded in 1915, Geisinger is a physician-led system dedicated to health care, education, research and service spanning 43 counties and 20,000 square miles and serving 2.6 million people.  Cherokee Pharmaceuticals, just across the Susquehanna from Geisinger, is a center for pharmaceutical/biomedical research and manufacturing.  Shamokin Area Community Hospital, Ashland Regional Medical Center, and Sunbury Community Hospital also offer quality health care close by.
